Eliciting organisational values
To support you to develop Organisational Values we use our unique Metaphors@Work programme. This is a three layered approach:
- Interviewing individuals to develop their visions from strategic, practical and critical perspectives
- Whole group days in which the key players work in groups to coalesce the values using Clean Questions and Systemic Modelling
- Tracking the values through to practical and deliverable actions
Metaphors@Work is an enjoyable and highly effective process, and has been taught as part of MBA programmes at the University of Surrey and the Open University. Our case study ‘Eliciting Corporate Metaphors’ will give you a flavour of how Metaphors@Work works in practice.
When working with large teams or whole companies, we look for a ‘diagonal slice’ of staff to work with, who will represent different seniorities and departments. We also train participants in peer coaching, and help to set up networks to disseminate values through existing business networks and processes.
All our programmes to train in-house staff or involving more than 4 days facilitation with us can be dovetailed with our ILM in Coaching Qualification. Participants can achieve a VRQ Level 3 Award, Level 3 Certificate, Level 5 Certificate or Level 5 Diploma.
